Onyx 5.0 sterilizing autoclave

1. Connect the electrical plug to the system.
   Press the main switch to turn on the autoclave.
2. Open the autoclave door and after a few moments you will hear beeps relating to automatic barometric alignment.
   Place the tools on the trays.
3. When the “door open” message appears, it means that the autoclave is ready for use.
4. Go to the home screen and click “Setup”.
5. Select the sterilization cycle by pressing “select cycle” and then “start”.
6. The selected cycle will start. To stop any cycle, press “stop” for 2 seconds.
7. When the cycle is finished, there will be a beep and “end of cycle” will appear on the screen.
   

Room cleaning:

1. Periodically clean the chamber by removing any deposits or debris, thus avoiding introducing materials into the exhaust circuit that may create obstructions. For good cleaning, use only demineralized water and the abrasive sponge provided.
   

Cleaning the chamber filter:

1. Pull the filter upwards, being careful not to damage it.
2. Wash it with demineralized water and dry it with a clean, dry cloth.
3. Place it back into its seat, making sure that it protrudes by approximately 15mm.
   

Cleaning the trays and tray holders:

1. Clean with a sponge moistened with demineralized water.
   

Changing the bacteriological filter:

1. Select the “reset counter” item in the “bacteriological filter” submenu.
   Use only original filters.
   Proceed with the replacement of the filter by unscrewing it counterclockwise.
   

Cleaning the door seal:

1. Periodically remove any residue that settles on the circumference of the gasket, using a sponge moistened with demineralized water.
   

• Cleaning must be done in a cold room to avoid burns. Never use solvents, detergents, chemical solutions, descalers or other similar products.
• Maintenance of the instrument must be carried out every 20 cycles or once a week.
• Never overlap tools and bags.
• During the installation phase, leave at least 10 cm of space between the wall and the machine.
• Dry the instruments thoroughly before placing them in the bags and in the autoclave.
• Allow tools to cool completely before using them.
