Marathon BL 18 autoclave sterilizer

1. Insert the plug into the socket, open the door, turn on the autoclave by pressing the ON button.
2. Open the top door and check the water level. If the word IN flashes, add only distilled water.
3. Place the tools on the trays, without overlapping them.
4. If you choose the wrapped cycle, always place the instruments with the paper side facing upwards; if you select the unwrapped cycle, wash the instruments before placing them in the autoclave.
5. Close the door after loading the instruments, the word "Loading" will flash and once the door is closed, the word will be solid.
   Insert the tools, close the door and press the "Start / Stop" button to start.
6. At the end of the work cycle, the word "PASS" will light up and an acoustic warning will sound.
7. Open the door and remove the sterilized instruments; the printer will issue a receipt with the completed procedure
   sterilization.
8. Turn off the power switch.
   

Room cleaning:

1. Clean the chamber periodically (every 2-3 weeks or once a month) removing any deposits or debris, thus avoiding introducing materials into the exhaust circuit that can create obstructions. For good cleaning, use only a damp cloth.
   

Cleaning the trays and tray holders:

1. Clean with a sponge dampened with water.

Cleaning the door seal:

1. Periodically remove any residue that settles on the circumference of the gasket, using a sponge moistened with water.
   

• Cleaning must be done in a cold room to avoid burns. Never use solvents, detergents, chemical solutions, descalers or other similar products.
• The door seal, water filter and air filter should be cleaned approximately every 1000 cycles.
• The autoclave has two different programs with bags and without bags. If you choose to run the unpackaged cycle, remember to wash the instruments you intend to sterilize before placing them inside the device.
• During the installation phase, leave at least 10 cm of space between the wall and the machine.
• Dry the instruments thoroughly before placing them in the bags and in the autoclave.
• Allow tools to cool completely before using them.
